Currently, I live in a smallish apartment in Back Bay. I love my address, but the need for space kills me sometimes. A few years ago, I bought an awesome cream and floral swivel chair that I absolutely loved and needed to have. At that time, I also bought a new couch to match the chair. The couch didn't last very long because around the same year, I got Ruby. Ruby met the couch and then Ruby ate the couch. The chair however prevailed (and has moved with me numerous times). Last year or so, when I tried to do the suburban thing, I bought a very nice coffee table that had a sliding storage underneath. It was pretty great, but didn't fit in my current apartment and since I have moved in has drove me nutso (too many stubbed toes to count). I have been trying to get rid of it for sometime and finally hired a junk removal/mover to take it all away to the Salvation Army. Who knew paying for a removal, could make me so happy? It also makes Ruby happy because she can frog out on the carpet with not hitting a piece of ill fitting furniture.
You have to love Pinterest. I have been searching for some ideas to keep the space open and free of furniture, but definitely need a resting place for some wine and snacks at night. Here are few ideas that I love. I will most likely hitting up West Elm this weekend to find something. Any other ideas?
|love this little bench, but would like it in white, bright poppy or yellow|
would love to do the vintage luggage in my room, but not sure how practical it is.
