Weekend Randomness

On Friday, I ran into my favorite door beggar. I was walking Ruby about 9pm and as I was walking past Walgreen's I see her straight ahead, walking towards me. She doesn't notice me. So, I said "Hey, Teresa, remember me?" She stares for a second and is like oh, yea, I owe you some money... excuse excuse excuse. She was so screwed up on drugs that I immediately let her know that I was aware of her lying to me so she could buy drugs and that I wasn't stupid. I also told her if she bothered me again, I would call the cops on her. I told her to not to come by apt ever again, even to pay me back, because I didn't want the money back if it meant that she would stay away from and leave me alone. She agreed, she cried and I felt bad, but she was so drugged up I am sure this was her way of making me feel bad for her. I do kind of feel bad, because I feel bad for anyone that has such a sad life. I cry almost every time I watch Intervention and sometimes seeing these people around my city makes me want to help them, but as I know, you can't really do anything.

On Saturday, I went to Louis Boston for their annual 50% off sale. I didn't find too much, but got this cute little dress. They opened a restaurant upstairs called Sam's and it was actually very good with an awesome harbor view.

My dress is navy/white plaid and is the softest cotton.

On Sunday, I went to the
SoWa market in my neighborhood and bought my very first piece of art... It is the floral bouquet painting on canvas and it is pretty big. It is gorgeous and I felt like such a grown-up bringing it home yesterday.

I can't believe you saw her and she actually remembered she owed you money. It can be really sad to see people struggle but even harder when they could care less about helping themselves.
