Flowers on the Wall
Never heard of it? Many of you probably haven't (it was on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, which I found strange because how uncommon it is)... Anyhow, it just came on AOL radio at work. Very Random. My dad and I used to sing it together when I was little. He would also sing it to me and make funny gestures/faces... It is amazing how certain songs come back to you out of the blue and make a memory seem like it was yesterday. So, daddy, if you were saying hi, I say Hiya back. Miss you.

My horoscope... Maybe this means I should really start using my gym membership.
Kelly, You might not like what your friends are telling you right now, but they are right. You need to get more active. So challenge them to practice what they are preaching, find some way you can all get more physically active, but avoid competitive sports today.
Hmm...ways to become more physically active. Does drinking wine count?
Ruby and I start puppy kindergarten tonight. Would it be wrong to bring a camera and put her in a new outfit? It is her first day of school.
Also, I have been looking at puppy tutus and now I want a matching one.

Real Housewives of NJ
Last night I was watching Real Housewives of NJ with CD. I must have said about 20 times to him... "OMG, that lady dragging her kid around with a purse full of $100's doesn't own a forehead. Where is her forehead??? If I was her, I would have my hairline adjusted... force a receding hairline. I think they did it on ANTM and it worked." Then she put a headband on and it basically covered her eyebrows and I was done.
Which leads me to this... I just saw this article on Gawker. Dying! I am glad other people get stuck on the same crap I do... I can't even remember other parts of the show cause all I could think about is what if I didn't have a forehead. What would I do?

Spring Awakening

WAS Amazing. I got chills. I laughed and got a little teary eyed (I think I was a wee bit over tired). I wish I could go again before it leaves the Bean. I would tell anyone and everyone to go see it!
OK, so I loved Kyle Riabko (he played Melchior Gabor). I googled him this morning and found this. Hysterical!

Sox Game

We celebrated CD's bday (and a nice 80 degree night finally) by going to the Sox last night. Btw, I love my new camera... I am taking pics of everything now. Instead of watching the game, I was playing with it the whole time. I think the lady in front of me was getting annoyed, so she stood up mid pic. Here she is below. LOL.

B4's in NYC

We all went to NYC for MeMo's bday and it was beyond fun. Of course, it was!!
Highlights from the trip:
Arrived NYC by 2.
Margaritas and Guacomole at Rosa Mexicana by 2:30.
First round of shots by 3:30.
Drunk shopping: Sidewalk vendors & Lohemans for some shoe shopping... Hello, Marc Jacobs peep toes for 3 hundy off.
However, MeMo took the prize for the best shoe find. I wish I had little feet.
Dressing room misadventures with Noriagi.
More shots. Was that the Belmont Stakes that we were rooting for??
Best mani/pedi/massage that 28 dollars can buy.
Champers and presents.
Waverly for dinner. People staring as we got louder and louder. No celeb sightings, but I don't think we would have noticed anyway.
Umm... The two freakiest bartenders (see pic above). Enough said.
SNL & after hours.
Slumber party.
I am still recovering, but had a blast! Thanks Upper East Side Girl (Tiffy) for hosting.
Random Thought(s) of the Day: Tuesday
Why can't people take puppy maternity leave? It is the hardest thing to have a puppy and go to work all day. It isn't like I am going to have a child anytime soon, so why can't I take this benefit now?

Finally it is the Weekend
Friday started off a little sad. The girls and I went support our friend Aimee who had selflessly helped her mother through a two year cancer battle. She was amazing and we were so glad we could be there for her.
Tomorrow morning we are all headed to NYC to celebrate Memo's bday... Dinner at the Waverly tomorrow night, shopping and overall fun times. Cannot wait! Great pictures to follow, I am sure.
Everyone have a great weekend!

SVU/Hillary Duff
I caught a little bit of SVU last night. Hillary Duff was the guest star (played a partying mom that lost her child which developed into a measles epidemic and bad parenting... show was awful). Back to my main point, I think she is adorable, but did she get work done to her face already? She can't be more than 22. If not, I need to know what moisturizer she uses...her skin is flawless. Also, I like that she has finally lightened her hair back up. She is much cuter as a blonde.

Random Thought of the Day: Tuesday
I don't get why grown men (30+) wear book bags around. Like, fully wearing them around both arms. Where are they going? I don't know - it is a look I just don't understand. Thoughts?

Update on Friday's Post:

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have had puppy pangs and envy for years. I could never commit because of my schedule (work full time, plus some and BU). Actually, being that busy reassured me that having a puppy in my life would have to wait. Now, I am in much better place. So, I pulled the trigger last night.
Everyone, say hi to Ruby! She is doing so well and is very happy. She slept through the night in her crate and has only had one accident in the house. She is super fun and has an awesome personality. I feel so grateful to have her finally. I now wonder what took so long!

Happy Friday!
I had this dream about hooking up with Chuck Bass last night. He had a yellow scarf on and was speaking in a British accent (like he would in real life). I was so disappointed when I woke up to find it not real. I also tried to go back to sleep to restart my dream, but it didn't work.
In other TGIF news, I am off to do something major after work. I will try and share tomorrow, but wait for it... It is kind of huge.

Patti Stanger
I die every time she opens her mouth. I wish I had her in my life...sigh. I guess I will just have to continue to waste my brain cells watching her hooking up these men.

The Locator
So, I made a big mistake while trying to find something interesting to watch on TV last night. I got to the WE channel and this show called the Locator. Has anyone seen it? I should have known it was bad when my friend Heidi text me to say she balls every time she watches it and feels bad for me right now. Well, anyway, for those of you who haven't seen it, it is about this guy who "grants wishes" to help people find each other. Adopted parents/children etc. It's all about second chances, so I am not sure if I was a puddle over them finding each other or the pain they feel for years of not knowing who this person is. It is crazy sad... So, if you catch it and are in an emotional state... skip on by.

ShePratt & The Rest
Observation of the Hills this week.
Spencer was not all that annoying. Are they trying to make his character more likable (spin-off)?
ShePratt: Ok, what has she done to her face? It distracts me from her stupidity, but I did hear this. "She looks like a girl who sleeps her in make-up." Ohh - Steph, good one.
Jayde: Can you actually drink out of a bottle of Jager and be standing up afterward AND wasn't one of her friends with "Stacey the Bartender" at HWood (?) at the beginning of the episode?
How is LC not mad at Audrina for hooking up with Brody? She gets mad at everyone for that.
Finally, do they give LC one liners of wisdom?
To my LA peeps: Do you ever see them filming at clubs and on the street? How staged is it?

Met Costume Gala
Is it me or were the outfits a little out there this year? Usually, I am in awe of what everyone is wearing, but not this year. It was bad on so many levels.
Case in point:
Oh Madonna, what did you do? Now, if you brought Jesus, I wouldn't have even noticed how awful you looked. What the heck is on your head?
I am still trying to determine who was the best dressed. Right now, I am going with Blake in teal Versace.

Weekend Fun... Another B4 Experiment
I am am so exhausted, but every moment was worth it. Actually, I would take back some instances of the Bruins game last night... but 99.9% was a blast. Thanks again to everyone who celebrated with me. Some snapshots from the fish tank event and pre-party at my place below. Oh BTW, I can take pics again... cause my B4's bought me a camera for my bday. Yay! Love them.

In other bday news... Sephora's free present on your bday was decent. 3 super shimmer lip gloss tubes. How awesome. Put it on and it reminded me of high school. I must have one that was similiar.
